Digitizing Textile Comfort and Hand Feel with Tactile Sensation Analyzer and Virtual Haptic Library
The hand feel of a fabric plays a key role in consumer purchase decisions, but it has been difficult to measure objectively until now. With emtec's TSA Tactile Sensation Analyzer and its cloud-based Virtual Haptic Library, hand feel can be quantified and digitized. The system enables objective measurement and smoother communication across the supply chain. This session will show how the TSA and cloud platform can support product development using a real-world example between a brand and a fabric supplier.
